Background: 19th of Nightal, Born in the year 1202 D.R. (Year of the Dragon Altar). He has Black hair and golden eyes with bronze-colored skin. He worships the elven Pantheon leader, Corellon Larethian. Zuriel hails from Evermeet and is currently on a diplomatic mission to gather aid for the war effort and gain power to take a Council seat on his return.

Character Goals: A diplomat from the Isle of Evermeet, his ship was attacked by a Ruathym warship and forced away from Neverwinter due to plague. Landing in Port Llast, he made his way inland to the City of Silverymoon, hoping to gain assistance in the war effort. When he found that the city was itself nearly besieged by an orcish horde, he decided to abandon that quest and head south to Waterdeep. However, fearing the perils of the wilderness as a lone elf Zuriel decided to travel with others heading in the same direction. Although they were not a pleasant lot (moon elves and a fetid dwarf), they were skilled in warcraft and may prove useful in the months to come. Perhaps a large force is not what is required, but a personally-forged war-party of hearty adventurers who can strike at Evermeet's enemies. Surely, if Sun Elves (or any elves) are hard to come by, then perhaps he can win over forces from some other races. It's evident that having Evermeet as an ally would only benefit them in the long run. Zuriel's first love is magic, his second is speaking with others who enjoy the Art, and his last love (or vice) is gambling. This final pursuit is only enjoyable when skill decides the outcome, not Tymora's whims. His lifelong ambition has been to sit on the ruling council of magic in Evermeet, perhaps a goal worth leaving Evermeet to attain. A hero's return is likely to gain him the prestige he craves....
